"I was issued a parking ticket for an expired meter that was NOT expired and I have the receipt to prove it. However, it’s impossible to get a court date or get in contact with anyone here. They never answer the phone or call you back no matter how many attempts you make. I’m basically being forced into paying this bogus parking ticket. This is total corruption."

"I've had the most wonderful experience getting a ticket in Bloomfield. I totally deserved it, thanked the officer for jamming me with not one but three, and could not wait to dispute them in court. When I arrived, everyone was so friendly! No gruff "put your keys, phone, belts in the tray before going through the detector." He thanked me and wished me a great day. I responded, "well, I guess we'll just see when I get into the courtroom, huh?!" LOL. The court room was hot and I had to sit there for three hours, but I did not mind. I love watching poor schlubs worse off than me fighting having their licenses taken away, pleading down drug charges, or trying to explain why they were eating a sandwich with their shirt off while looking into somebody's window. The bailiff was pleasant, positive, and you could tell that even though he had been repeating the same rules and regulations for the last twenty years, he was still fresh as a daisy and took pride in his task. When I finally went before the judge, he admonished me and threw the book at me. I have $1,500 dollars in fines and must do community service. Thank you, judge! I don't know what all the complaining is about. What a bunch of wet dishrags. I love it here."

"Can't speak to the complaints about contacting the court by phone because I didn't call just went on the date I had to appear. I went 7/3/18 for my court appearance. I can say as a 52 year old man who has appeared in traffic court a few times that the Judge, was easily the Nicest, Warmest, most helpful, to all his staff and to those of us showing up for court! The Judge actually downgraded my ticket from the prosecutors recommendation. I appeared, as did almost all of those who went before me, without an attorney. The towns attorney was as fair and reasonable as anyone could ask! I had a ticket for talking on cell phone 2nd time in a 10 year span. Fine is supposed to be $400-$600. With the Judge's downgrade of the ticket I walked out paying $239 fair to say I can't ask for a better result than what I received!"

"I have called almost every week day for the past month, which has added up to over 40 calls and I have only been able to get a hold of someone twice. I sent the court money for a parking violation, but they said it was not received despite depositing the check I sent. I sent an additional payment, yet they still had my license suspended and have not yet credited me the money for paying the violation twice. Will someone please do their job and answer a phone!!!! This is pathetic!!!!"
