As we navigate a pivotal moment in our journey, we have withdrawn our application for hardship before the Landmark Preservation Commission, pending the resolution of unrelated litigation concerning our building’s tenant. Despite these challenges, our congregation remains steadfast in its commitment to a future that honors our rich history while embracing modernity. We are hopeful that the court will rule in our favor, allowing us to invest in a contemporary, accessible space that serves both our worship needs and the broader community, including underserved neighborhoods across New York City.
