"LOVE this church! True sense of community, Everyone is welcoming and the music at the 10am mass is amazing. My children were baptized here and our family and friends couldn’t stop talking about the choir and how beautiful the service was. We have since moved 45 min away but still make it back every few months because we miss it so much."
"This is a neighborhood Catholic church in Harlem it is I believe 100 years small but beautiful English, Spanish, Creole French mass. Been attending service there since as a child. Not a cathedral but great architecture new and old paintings. They have a sign now they don’t allow photos. During mass I get it. Closed often"
"Been there for Sunday service. They also serve breakfast on Tuesdays. They serve bagels, coffee, tea and scrambled eggs. It wasn't crowded. If you need to use your phone, do so before you go downstairs because you will lose the signal."
"Love the church. The problem are tourists. Italians and French specially. . They forget it’s a wholy place where we pray and worship. They come take pictures. Videos. Always on the phone as of that was a museum. Go to wholy communion not knowing what to do. It is not a museum people !!!!! Cameras should be forbidden"
"50 years ago I was the organist and my husband the cantor at this jewel of a church. I am now 79 and living on the West Coast, but so happy to see that St Joseph of the Holy Family is thriving and beautiful!"
