Reviews
"I attended an event here and being in the intimacy of this space was quite the experience. I loved being there. To have a space like this for the community, where things are accessible and free is extremely rare. Ola, the owner, is lovely and I am amazed at the effort it must take to provide the level of consistent programming that she does."
"The Free Black Women’s Library is a safe space for those looking for community, black femme education and creative activities. It is one of those places that make Bedstuy, Brooklyn great. If you are ever traveling into NYC, please register for their events!!"
"We traveled from Connecticut and New Jersey to visit this establishment, but they were closed. There is no mention of being closed on social media platforms. We had books and toiletries to donate. It's such a waste of our time. We heard that this happens a lot, folks traveling to visit, and they are closed. Why not post if you plan to close or not open. We were able to donate our books to the pastry shop up the street, who were appreciative to receive."
