"This library is an excellent destination for fostering children's love for books. It offers a wide range of captivating books for kids to explore, and the staff members are extremely pleasant and child-friendly."
"It's the perfect place for me to go online to play virtual games on emulator websites and to go on Microsoft Word to type stories! And it's also the perfect time for me to read graphic novels such as comic books, manga and to do artwork!"
"I recently visited this location, the overall library was quiet during the time I attended, it was clean and the staff were very friendly, helpful and welcoming."
"An amazing place to take your kids and also for you to relax or study. Great staff and absolutely helpful for the community."
"this is not review ....more of memory. i used to frequent this library back in the 70s. we used to live at #12 Hayes street and every Friday after school, I would walk to this library and come back home with a bag full of books. Mr.. Gregg, who was the library director(?), encouraged my love of reading so much that he got permission from my parents to let me get an "adult" library card so that I could take more books. He did screen what I checked out, of course. I had pretty much read just about all of the books in the children's section, which was on the 2nd floor if I recall correctly. I would spend my summers at the library. I loved that place. We moved from Hayes Street in 1979, right around the time they demolished our building. I no longer live in NJ but I will definitely pay a visit to my old library the next time I visit Newark."
