Reviews
"I agree with the previous comment about the women in the Teen section. She needs to be fired, I came in needed of a space to work and I did have a meeting. There wasn't a space to speak quietly, but in the teen section, there were only two people speaking loudly. I asked to use the back end of that space and have my meeting and she said no. The young women that were in that section did not look like teenagers at all. I'd be shocked if they were teens but they did not look it at all. She had a very nasty attitude and I was not up to argue with her due to my interview starting within 5 minutes."
"I only utilize the library for the usage of workspace and computer. Great workspace, for those who want to sit with large laptops, and need infinite power, but also serves as a 'neighborhood lounge.' No support for wired devices, but there are personal tables, and ample seating near outlets. Plus, enough free access to utilize their computers for 45 minutes per day."
"I cannot understand how this library doesn’t have a book drop. They aren’t open until 11 am on Wednesday which is weird enough and then I can’t drop a book off on my way to work. People there are generally nice and helpful but we need a place to leave our books every day even in off hours."
"It is unacceptable that this library does not have a public restroom. Libraries are one of the last free, publicly accessible spaces we have in the city and their whole function is to serve the community. There is quite literally no excuse for them to refuse to provide a very basic service such as a bathroom for people."
"I have a fondness for quiet, low populated and dark places and this library hits all three. Most of the library is underground, with a basement and subbasement making up the bulk of the space. Even the library building itself is tucked away on a side street. Staff is friendly, computers are limited though. A small but good collection of books, so you may have to settle for your second choice. Space in the classrooms is limited but if you have your own computer their usually willing to let you in. A small but charming library, good for sitting and getting work done."
