"I‘ve been going to this branch since 1972 when I came from Gualey, Santo Domingo. I grew up with this branch and I raised my kids in this branch; I love the New York Public Library and their librarians."
"A small library with two floors (adult first floor, children/teens section second floor). Decent selection of films, CDs, and books. They had a pretty good collection of graphic novels on the first floor. There is a computer station and some areas to sit. One public restroom on first floor. Place was pretty quiet and relaxed when we visited."
"Quiet, mostly clean and easy to find. If you can’t see the huge red/orange flag telling you where this library is…it’s definitely not the library’s fault. The only downside I saw is that they have a single stall bathroom that is often out of order or not kept very clean. The reading area is pretty big and clean - those wooden chairs could be more comfortable but I don’t see them getting changed any time soon. They have a plethora of books, a children’s section, attentive staff, a lift at the entrance for wheelchairs/walkers/strollers/and most importantly IT’S QUIET. Any disruptions are taken care of immediately."
"BEWARE! If you have/go with kids make sure they do NOT touch any books in the CHILDREN FLOOR! Because i got told my son couldn't “mess up the shelf’s because I (the staff) would have to clean it all over again”. I seriously thought it was a kids floor and not PERFECT WORLD, plus i thought thats one of the duties of the job. Very rude staff on the children’s floor/section. First and last time i go to this library aka PERFECT WORLD."
"Very standard library. Clean place but very old facility. There are outlets at certain tables. It’s difficult to study there for a long time when you can’t have drinks, not sure if water is an exception. Children section on the 2nd level."
