"The Flushing Library is the largest library in Queens; however, it has the poorest service among all the Queens libraries I have visited. The staffs are rude and show no respect for the patrons. The librarians often talk loudly in their private conversation and make annoying environment for the patrons. Nothing has been changed after this has been bought to the Manager's attention. While they ask patrons to be quiet, the staff are indifferent to the patrons' rights. According to this branch's unique policy, the restrooms are closed 45 minutes before the library's closing time, and no patrons are allowed to use them. An hour before the library closes, they begin to harass patrons by keeping making announcements to remind them that the library will be closing soon. Then, half an hour before the library's actual closing time, the security guards come to the floor to force patrons to leave. The library is often completely emptied and closed 15 minutes before the published closing time. Many times, this library arbitrarily closes its doors during normal scheduled opening hours without good reason or advance notice. It seems that this library prioritizes the needs of its staff over serving the general public."

"Area is safe with guards all around and the children is also safe by kids & parent only."
"Went here to print out materials. There were not a lot of computers and the area, especially on the 2nd floor, gets very warm. It's not one of the best libraries in the area, and there should be more open spaces for quiet studying/reading. But the staff were helpful when I had an issue printing."
