"I WALKED from my apartment building to the library hoping to print out documents, as I often do, and was sort of bombarded by the librarian about getting a library card and connecting it to local politicians seeing the number/increase of residents with active cards could be useful her tone was just very intense and she pretty much told me to go and do it. I didnt come prepaired to sign up just wanted a quick print. Maybe I would come back another day with what I needed in order to fulfill that but it just made me uncomfortable in such an open quiet space...so I'll print elsewhere."
"Very Good attention every time I go that branch. Thank you so much for your atention."
"I really appreciate the library and the librarians. The staff is helpful and friendly. The library is more than just books, it's a community resource. I love the "library of things" with the various tools and gadgets, and the pantry and the food resources provided to those in need. And the children's library is a special place, with great daytime programs for the kids. Wish the town would do more to fix up both library buildings."
"I was not at the library but I was at the Civic Center. I have many fond memories since I was young going there. Chess, girls softball, civic theater and rehearsals with, the Bloomfield Civic Band and Garden State Concert band. As I college graduate I performed in the Vougue Theater under the children's library. Everyone there is very nice and helpful, especially Mike. Bloomfield recreation always support the arts and sports."
"I used to love this library. I thought they were always very kind to me, but a few weeks ago, they gave me a slip saying I was banned from the library. I am completely outraged. I have followed all the rules without complaining once, and I have always been polite to everyone inside. When I try to explain there must’ve been a mistake, the owner and one of their librarians was very rude to me. I had written a beautiful review on Google before, but I take it back. They did not deserve the love and kindness I gave them. I even wasted my money on a book just so I could donate it to their collection, and this is the thanks I get?! I cried myself to sleep that night, I felt like I was going to die from sadness. Those bullies did not deserve the right to have been born. They don’t care about libraries, they just want to hurt people. They have just lost their most valuable customer forever. Goodbye, forever and good riddance. Thanks for nothing!"
