Reviews
"Excellent library with a good selection of books and videos, friendly staff, computers and regularly scheduled activities for kids. Get your membership card and you can even request books from the greater library system."
"Unlike a good neighborhood library, which caters to the needs of the community with extensive services for remote-working adults, researchers, curious children, teens and retirees alike, this is the embodiment of the worst library cliché - church with books. You'd best hush your breathing, while librarians in loud, chirpy voices follow you around, question your every move and watch you like a hawk. Unpleasant, unfriendly and just flat out unkind. Libraries are not for librarians, they are for PEOPLE. Remember that. Googling this place has been illuminating - a former employee is suing this place, claiming an unprofessional and hostile environment. Color me unsurprised."
"The librarians follow you around and micromanage you, and make you super uncomfortable with their passive aggressive demeanor. They also don’t allow any drinks in the library not even water, I’m leaving this review on July 13, 2023 where it was close to 90 degrees. Overall just an unpleasant experience, I’d highly recommend going to Nutley public library; which is only a couple minutes away but it’s way bigger, more comfortable, more friendly and has a quiet area."
"Nice local library. Library is small, but so is the town of NA. Young blonde lady that helped me at the circulation desk and lady at the reference desk were very pleasant. The next time I visited, the lady (thin with dark hair) at the circulation desk wasn't welcoming. I rented several DVDs and two of them skipped at times while playing. Other than that, it's a nice library."
