"I walked in today 9/30/23 at noon to ask a few questions about a package that was being held there. His responses to my questions were extremely rude and sassy. Even while still remaining calm and collective he did not have an interest in providing any customer service. Im not sure what his job description includes but i'm sure decent customer service is one of them which he did not provide. USPS DO BETTER!"

"Worst USPS experience ever - We were mailing a card to Korea and the lady kept writing “north” when we constantly said “south”. It was hilarious - everyone in line kept laughing too since they heard us just fine standing 6ft behind us! Could have been a nice joke, but this worker’s hearing problem really held up the line. I was in there for 40min. Also for some reason, she kept recommending the most expensive way to ship possible for every customer, so much so that one lady before us had to holler at the top of her lungs, “that’s too expensive!” over and over again. We left without posting our mail since the cheapest was apparently $39. Next day at another usps we were able to mail our item for $16. I really don’t recommend this location, please go to the Carlstadt one on 1st street for a quicker, better experience."

"I’ve had numerous mail items and packages lost by my carrier and when the packages are marked delivered and I never receive them and I call to complain at Wood ridge post office all I get is lame excuses about how they don’t have regular carriers, short staffing and being over worked. Something has to be done to remedy this! This is totally unacceptable. So many times I’ve been told by supervisor at WRPO that my packages and mail would be delivered to me when they were already delivered to wrong address and never retrieved! Credibility of staff of Wood-Ridge post office is 0. What does one have to do to ensure accurate and safe delivery of a service that is paid for with our tax dollars. I have already issued a complaint against the post office. Didn’t want to have to do this but this is gotten way out of hand. This is incompetence at it’s finest!"

"I have no clue who has been our carrier in MOONACHIE since the pandemic started. Our mail is delivered to the wrong address. Items in my packages have arrived broken and my packages, clearly labeled LEAVE ON PORCH (3 steps from mailbox), are being left outside risking damage or theft. Yesterday we picked up our mail, no packages. This morning before the carriers were even in their route, by coincidence we found more more mail and a package containing more than $500 worth of clothing was found soaked outside. Who made a second mail delivery??? I don’t know. I called the post office three times during normal business hours and no one picked up!!! I am paying for a service so I want customer service! The issue with the packages has happened one too many times. If the carrier is annoyed because now he’s delivering more packages, then find a job that doesn’t require the extra work!"

"Avoid this Post Office at all cost!!! This place needs to be shutdown. This place is currently run by people who believes they are never in the wrong because they have been doing this for 20+ years... This post office(including last mile delivery) has lost so many of my packages, I have to go out of the way to have make sure the packages are delivered by UPS or FEDEX only; which is strange because these two carriers have yet to lose a package. I have submitted a complaint to this office time after time but all i get is a call from the driver claiming he delivered it, case closed..."
