Reviews
"The bathroom has stools in the walls and floor, I asked to the front desk if there is other bathroom I can use, she tell me not because she doesn’t have the keys for “staff bathroom” I took seat and other user asked the same question and she let her in to the staff bathroom. Also a lot of user were complaining of the stools odor that came from the bathroom, no ones cleans up in the entire afternoon, so the odor was insoportable."
"It's a public library, for heaven's sake. Let's remember that we're lucky these sacrosanct institutions still exist. Five stars."
"The best thing about this branch is the landmark building in which it is housed. Inside, you'll find it is quiet and organized as you'd expect a library to be. It is also spacious due to the scant offering of books. There simply isn't much to peruse as the shelves are half empty rather than half full."
"Arrived at the location. Instead of communicating tye information they are pointing to typed signs about the eclipse glasses. They literally have nothing to do all day but gossip and talk to each other. The least you can do is communicate with your words and be respectful to people, we are excited!! The two ladies in the front one being a supervisor! I know they are hiding some under those wrinkle shirts and dirty cardigans"
"Love how the library is divided into adult, children, and teen floors. The teen floor is great for not only age-appropriate books but also college and career information, free extracurriculars, and whiteboards where you can get your homework done. The adults floor has a nice selection of computers and tables where people work quietly. Unlike some of the other NYPL locations closer to where I live, I've been happy with the experience of going to this location! People are respectful and quiet here."
