"I love the service with a smile when visiting the Teaneck library. Sometimes I reserve books online and sometimes I go in to look at the shelves to literally "judge a book by its cover" (and title). I am going to be sad when the library closes for renovation. I hope they work quickly because I, along with other long-term loyal visitors and readers of the Teaneck library, will miss the people and books until they return, bigger and better."

"This branch has a good selection of preloaded Launchpad tablets, which other libraries mostly don't have. It seems like most of the puzzles have gotten lost over time, but there are some other activities still. There is lots of sunlight in some of the rooms, including the children's room and atrium. There is an additional room in the middle that is mostly empty except for books"

"The library itself is like a regular library and the classes are very nice…but why does the staff have to be so rude for literally no reason? I’ve been here 4 times and so far every single time I have gotten an attitude from the women at the desk. I’m talking about the front desk as well as the one near the little kids section. I mistakenly know my first time went to check out a kids book at the desk in the kids section and was treated like I just broke a huge rule or something by not knowing I could only check out books at the front desk. The gray haired woman with the short hair at the front desk is straight PETTY. She refuses to admit you can look someone up by name (I was picking a book up that my husband reserved and didn’t have his card on me). They have looked me up by name before but she was just refusing and lecturing me about downloading the app. I just want to say, you work in a free public library, not a correctional center. It’s not the serious, relax."

"First time in this NJ library and I’m aware NJ libraries are not too public. Seemingly they want their town for their town folks. I came in to print a few items and I mentioned to the older woman in the back room I’m not sure if what I will print will come out right.. Will I be charged ?This is 1 page request, either yes or no. She says ok no problem. Since I had other pages I print them. She prints the one I’m concerned about. I told her it wasn’t really right . She then ask me will I pay for it now? Unbelievable. Be more caring at Least."

"This review is from the perspective of the caretaker of a baby. Childrens programming room is small, but because of that they have programs more often than other libraries & require registration to avoid overcrowding. The librarian who runs the programming is sweet, sings songs with fingerplays & read books to the tots. They have large colorful educational rugs, mega blocks, puppets, puzzles, crayons, plenty to keep the little ones occupied. They also have a lovely Children's reading garden."
