"An absolute treasure that has finally reopened in Bergen County, New Jersey. This Nature Conservancy has gone through a major cleanup and offers so many amazing treasures right in our own backyard. Located in Teaneck, New Jersey this location provides wetlands, woodlands, and grasslands ecosystems, which attract a variety of flora and fauna, especially birds. I recommend that you bring your camera, take your time, and just enjoy the beauty that this place provides. In the warmer months, you can find turtles and snakes, but in the cooler months you'll find deer, fox, and muskrats. All year long, you'll find ornithologist, and Bird Photographer is enjoying the dozens of varieties of birds that call the Teaneck nature Conservancy home. The place is nestled next to a busy intersection, but you would never know once you're in it. The grounds are super clean, and the best part is... It's completely free. Search Projects"

"Such a lovely place! Especially enjoyed the turtle peace labyrinth and the puffin sculpture garden. Parking available on site. Trails are very walkable and I thought easy to tackle with little kids. I didn’t get to see the five pipes mural on this visit but look forward to visiting again."

"Nice place to go for a walk and clear your mind. Lots of birds and other wildlife can be heard and seen. There is a trail making it suitable for children and seniors as well. The best time to come here is in Autumn. They did some environmental restoration renovations but I'm unsure as to what exactly those positive changes were."

"Was looking forward to visiting but was extremely disappointed. While there are still some sculptures in the park the entire place looks extremely sad and run down. The look is very post apocalyptic. There are so many trees that have been cut down that some areas are just fields with stumps. The signs are all worn out, the water looks and smell rancid. There's garbage and random broken stuff all over. You can certainly walk the path, but it's super depressing and a mess. It definitely in need of help. Would not recommend at the moment."
