Under his guidance, the Council has successfully approved 40 land use applications, paving the way for over 12,000 new housing units, with more than 63% designated as affordable. Additionally, Council Member Riley has been instrumental in passing the historic FDNY Diversity bill package, championing equity in recruitment, retention, and training within the department.
