"Beautiful new paint job."
"St. Barnabas is a large, vibrant parish with something for everyone. (The bulletin is a little drab but that’s nothing) Masses have good attendance, collections seem to be generous, funding the many parish activities. The parish is also home to a large Irish population and no surprise, they are very friendly and welcoming. I go to mass here because they have a 7:30am Sunday mass which is very convenient for an early riser. It’s a bit out of the way for me otherwise I would consider it my parish."
"On Saturday, March 19, we attended the McLean Avenue St. Patrick’s Day parade mass and Irish celebration. I must say that the environment and atmosphere were both very peaceful and welcoming. A very special thank you to the organizers, priest, and of course all of the church members who make this spectacular day possible. Blessings to each and everyone of you!"
"We went to a mass to honor the passing of my Mother in law. From the begining to the end I felt they made everyone feel comfortable as well as joyful and peaceful. Also the gentleman that they had singing was awesome."
"It's a beautiful church, recently renovated for its 2011 centennial. And it has the largest pipe organ in the Bronx. A great experience in a real neighborhood!"
