"Manager was very rude and immature. I no longer feel comfortable going to this store seeing how unprofessionally it is run, which is a shame, because it was previously one of my favorites. I would really encourage the owner to look into this and have a conversation with staff and managers about being kind and fair to others. My hope is no customer will have to leave feeling the way I did."
"Very rude manager, I didn’t get her name but she’s white and has glasses and short hair. I asked one simple question about a product they had on display and she replied with a nasty attitude a simple “no” would have been fine but her answer was “I’m not allowing that”. I was interested in buying more than one product but she really ruined my experience in this store"
"Ugh! I adore these mangas. As an Otaku girl I can't tell you how happy I was to find this gem. I was getting tired of Crunchyroll and KissAnime don't get me wrong I love anime but my eyes needed a break and nothing beats a good read and going back to the roots! Shopping online for stuff can be tricky sometimes when it comes to manga. Luckily I was able to find Gantz volume 11 online in mint condition because they sadly told me they weren't selling it in the store anymore. But I love getting texts from Newbury for sales! They're all so nice!! I go to the one in white plains NY. They not only sell mangas but cute knickknacks too! I bought a cat-pizza-slicer and cat bag holders for my chips hehehe!!!! 4 stars"
