"Absolutely terrible place! Disrespectful staff, they don’t accommodate children needs. My son didn’t finish the camp and in the middle of summer I had to look for new camp. If you don’t like your kid send them here!!!"
"If you’re ok with 16 yr old watching your kids, then this place is for you. As you drop off your kids you will see the so called counselors strolling in half asleep. They are not trained for anything more that playtime and spend most of the rest of their time on their phones!!"
"Calvary temple is the best church I ever been to. My teen also enjoys going too. I am closer to God and I am learning so much with my walk with Christ. The Pastor is very knowledgeable and is always have a good experience everytime I go the Sunday service."
"Have been a member of Calvary Temple for about two years. The love that is in this place is unbelievably incredible. I have to children that go there because of the kindness that is taught, and the amount of attention the children receive you can not stop thanking them enough. The are faith base. I am happy that my children are learning about the relationship they can have with God. Thank you Lord for leading us to Calvary Temple along with Camp Calvary."
"So, I went to this camp two years ago when I was younger I'm now 13 and I was about 9 or 10 while going here. Well I had to go to summer camp which sucked because I had baseball summer camp to go with this which I am still doing today. So it was my first day going to "Camp" Calvary and it had that odor of a dentist office or a doctors office. Just pointing that out. So she said like "Sign your name and Ill tell you where you go" so my dad signed me in and she said I had to go to this room. When I walked in it was TOTAL CHAOS I mean seriously kids throwing balls kids running it was crazy. very unsupervised and just horrible sometimes. Some of the counselors are very nice and would help you with a lot but it seems like half of the time they would not care about the kids. Some of the kids would bully other kids and it was hard because sometimes they would bully me. I remember one day a kid hit me and my dad had to walk in. So after all the chaos you usually go to a station I forget what it is but its like science and computers and stuff like that. I went Monday, Wednesday and other days. And we would literally do NOTHING so stressful with kids just running around while other people are like making fun of you. getting back to the "Field trips" they were horrible. One thing to keep the kids away was the pool. We would go to PCTI the high school and would go to the pool. It was like we where standing at this gross and disgusting pool for hours. If you didn't bring like cards or a game to play if you didn't go into the pool it felt like forever. And after that you would go on a disgusting bus. Then there's lunch one dumb thing that the kids did was "reserved seats" you had no idea where to sit cause it was either reserved which was very dumb. and sometimes you would have to wait in line for a lunch and then at the end when you get your lunch you would like have 5 minutes left. On Wednesdays you would usually have something called "Dynamite devotions" Now this teaches the kids about like god but its very noisy and there's like lasers and its in a small gym and its very loud. On Fridays you would usually go on Field trips and holy cow where they horrible. Unsupervised and just horrible. No one wanted to sit by me or play with me it was horrible. Funny how they call this place "Fun" it is not fun its just another way of these people to steal your money. This is just another corrupt summer camp. I would recommend another camp instead of this one. DO NOT GO TO THIS CAMP!!"
