"This was the Dutch Reformed Church that many of the early NJ settlers attended. DeVries and Demarest relatives are buried here. This large stone church is the Old North Church built to replace the much smaller original-- the dates are on the blue historic marker. It is located at the intersection of Washington and Madison Ave in Dumont. (45 Park Ave) is the original location. The cemetery in the back is old and crumbling."
