"Of all the branches of M&T I have been to, the Thruway Plaza is the best. The teller are fast, friendly, treat everyone like family. There never long lines, every teller greets you will welcoming smile and kind voice. All in all it is just a great place to do your banking!"
"This particular branch has a very offensive colossal mural hanging in the lobby that I'm sure in some minds is depicting the highlights of America and the faces of the contributors. However it's missing faces of a particular people (African-American) who were forced to cultivate and build the infrastructure of this land for free. MTB mission statement includes community and the very oneside mural does not reflect the diverse community it serves."
"There is an older woman with short blonde hair who works at the teller window who needs extra training for her customer service skills. She was rude, terse and lacking in any desirable customer service skills. She even looked sour, no smile, no greeting, no farewell. She does this location no justice!"
"Awful place for commercial banking, especially on Mondays. Idiots come in with what feels like a month's worth of deposits. If you aren't there by 9:05am, you might be trapped there until 10am. Literally a sack of money and scattered papers were the people in front of me. Stood in an unmoving line for 40 minutes. They didn't open a second commercial line to compensate and didn't have any people from commercial banking over to the private banking tellers. It's also embarrassingly understaffed for a Monday morning, having only one drive up teller, one regular teller, and one commercial teller. Some businesses can't just leave work midday carrying thousands of dollars to make deposits. And yes, I can use the drop box, but I need the deposit receipt for my damn records. The customer service is good, but in particular for commercial banking it's a joke because you spend forever just to get assistance. I had to give up and leave the bank and I was late opening my store for the day. So I wasted all that time for nothing. It's just an embarrassment."
