"Barnert Temple is a warm, welcoming community at all levels. We joined to enroll my boys in religious school. After their Bar Mitzvahs they stayed engaged through confirmation, post confirmation, and the fabulous temple youth group. I went on to have my own Bat Mitzvah and Confirmation at 50 and continue to seek adult learning opportunities. For me, Barnert is also about fun, friendship, volunteering, leadership, and spending time with great people."
"We have been members for years and expect to be for years to come. One of our best decisions of our lives was to join Barnert. The congregation was/is very welcoming and we have made many friends there."
"A really welcoming Reform Jewish congregation in NW Bergen County. Great Rabbi — smart, engaging, inspirational. Multi-generational members. Active Men’s Club and Sisterhood. Vibrant Social Action committee. Terrific flexible, innovative learning opportunities from “mommy and me”/preschool to adults. Wonderful, spiritual services with an emphasis on music. Engaged and connected lay leadership. A real K’hillah Kedoshah (sacred community)."
"The oldest and best Reform synagogue in NJ and Bergen County. Since 1847!"
