Welcome to the Franklin Lakes Fire Department

Located at 479 Bender Court, Franklin Lakes, New Jersey, the Franklin Lakes Fire Department has proudly served our community since 1924. Our fire station is a beacon of safety and dedication, built on a rich history of tradition and bravery that spans nearly a century. Our team responds to approximately 600 emergency calls each year, tackling challenges such as structure and vehicle fires, motor vehicle collisions, hazardous materials incidents, technical rescues, and severe weather events.

We are currently seeking a qualified and motivated individual to lead and coordinate the recruitment and retention of volunteer firefighters and first responders. This is a unique opportunity to be a part of an organization that values community service and the safety of our neighbors. Applications must be submitted by November 10, 2020.

Our headquarters is located at 480 DeKorte Drive, and we also have a station at Southside, 857 Franklin Lake Road. Our operations and recruitment efforts are supported through a US DHS FEMA SAFER Grant program, ensuring that we have the resources needed to effectively serve Franklin Lakes.
