"Great park for bird watching, many woodpeckers can be seen/heard during late winter/early springtime in the mornings. It's a park that is fairly undisturbed from humans save for the trail and story walk posts. I Discovered deer tracks and what I believe to be coyote tracks (I don't think wolves are in this part of NY) but they could just be dog tracks. I say Coyote because not far from where I encountered them was fresh deer carcass. Maybe keep a look out with small children/pets."
"The trail was easy to access by foot, clean, and easy to hike. The story wall was also a nice touch. Not an accessible hike so no strollers no wheel chairs"
"About a 30min walk with a 3 and 4 year old. It was enough for my 3 year old but my 4 year old would've enjoyed a lengthier one. Very cute concept with the story through the trail. Cute little animals to see, birds , frogs , chipmunks, squirrels, small insects etc. Great for a quick nature walk with toddlers ❤️"
"Bryant-Mamaronet Park is a joke! First of all, there’s no parking. Secondly, it’s posted as private property, no trespassing, with arrest warnings posted. Thirdly, it’s surrounded by a 10 ft wrought Iron fence. There is no place here where a soul seeking solitude may rest. I never found the above pictured signage. Apparently, it’s just a city ploy to get Federal Park money for non-existent projects. I wonder how many millions the politicians scammed from the federal government this time?"
"Nice park with a walking trail where you can find a story for your kid (called story-trail), which is updated from time to time. My 4 year old loved it, we had to go another round."
