"Moderate condition station on the BMT 4 Avenue Line. Station is ADA accessible with ramps and elevators. This station contains one moderately wide island platform, with overhead countdown clocks and signage. Station is served by the R in both directions at all times. The B1/16 also serve the station upstairs and the S53/79-SBS/93-LTD serve the station as well taking passengers into Staten Island for $2.90. Station is in pretty decent condition and is one of the most important stations on the 4 Avenue Line despite only having one subway route."

"Same old affronting humid, unhygienic subway. Although there aren't rats emanating from the cracks like most busy NYC subways, is it too much to solicit for a cleaner, breathable subway? I found nothing impeccable about this station and it's just indignant that one has to deal with this everyday when commuting. The MTA is just incoherent to our plea and their excuse is as tenuous as always."

"This is another great train station because you could take the R train to go the city. Also S79 bus is right their and will take you to Staten Island. Very convenient for me for my commute wherever I go for my destination."
