"0 Stars honestly. Never had such a poor experience with a company. RUN! Quote for the move was $3600. Loaders from Mirit Great American Van Lines show up in an Unmarked personal truck with an unmarked enclosed trailer. They make me waive insurance before they start packing. Once everything is loaded, they tell me the bill will be $9500, minus the $1500 deposit i already made. I had to scramble to get the funds together last minute and late at night. Upon delivery, my kitchen table is in the back of their truck getting rained on. They "lost" about $1000 worth of my stuff, and even had the audacity to send me a picture of the stuff they did find then ghost me. Pretty sure they straight up stole my PS5 and extra controller too. Very shady company, no wonder they aren't BBB."
"Please do not use this company. They refused to deliver to our location costing us an additional 1500 in another truck. At this time we still do not have our belongings. The person was extremely rude and yelled at my husband. I will update on the condition of our items if they ever show up but please save yourself a huge headache and don't use them."
"Mover showed up with partially loaded trailer so not everything was picked up. Mover also hired loaders off Craig’s List, no checking on background, ID, nothing so one or more of loaders rifled thru our luggage and vehicles and stole two firearms, cash and jewelry. Mover’s carlessness or indifference put the safety and security of my family and property at risk. Oh and before company can say they have no record of me as a customer, contract was made by fiancée"
"The worst company ever. Too bad I did not know that I was talking to a broker prior to my move, and by then it was too late. I want you all to do your home work if you are moving anywhere on the East Coast, make sure you are dealing with a actual moving company. The movers and the stories are all the truth. The 3 movers that picked up my furniture asked for $100 dollars a piece for each one. I was like ok, maybe if I pay them, my furniture will not be damaged, Well that is not the case. I have damaged night stand, and look below at my Tv. I filed a claim and they are trying to give me 19.80 for my 65 inch Tv. You can't even buy a 1inch Tv for that amount. Please do your research, and make sure you know who you are hiring before your move. Every horror story on this page is TRUE"
"Cannot begin to describe the pain caused by this scam of a company. Sales guy completely lied about pricing, insurance and delivery date, we were overcharged $1700 (nearly 50% of the estimate!), they refused to take items in the original quote (mirrors, plants, vases), didn’t bring packing material for artwork even though we bought the “platinum pack”, they hauled our stuff to a warehouse for two weeks in the summer heat before delivering, then when our stuff arrived a ton was broken and damaged beyond repair and they left the place a total wreck and didn’t even unwrap anything. Their insurance is a total scam, they charge more than the cost of replacement to insure so you’re forced to take their $0.60 per pound nonsense, and when you try to call for claims it’s outsourced and they keep you on hold forever so you abandon any attempt. These scam artists must be shut down!!! They also go by “Mirit Great American” and “American Van Lines,” perhaps other aliases as well. AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!"
