"Not really sure what to rate this as I have never been here, but this is the subway station depicted in the 1970 movie Beneath the Planet of the Apes. The year is 3979 and Zira helps Brent and Nova evade capture by the gorilla army. They take refuge in a cave Brent realizes was once the Queensboro Plaza subway station in New York City. Watch the movie to learn more!"
"Very cool and interesting station! The lower level is for the trains towards Manhattan. The upper level is for trains towards Astoria and Flushing by the 7 trains. I suggest any photographers to take photos on the Flushing bound platform of the 7 trains. It’s also the only station where the Lettered line trains (B-Division) Stop on the same platform as the Numbered line trains (A-Division)."
"Very nice station, you can get the midtown skyline in the back and it is a very good place for photography. Not dirty at all besides some corners."
"Big open air double platformed station. You enter via bridges on either side of Queens Blvd. Not sure if stations are fully ADA compliant. Considering the station serves to lines, there is decent service into midtown Manhattan via 42 Street or 59 Street. The surrounding area is rapidly changing so I expect this station to become busier in the next few years."
"Where dignity and decency go to die! Service interrupted as often as the MTA dare do it without conductors being lynched. People crammed into train cars like beasts to slaughter. At least the upper level affords some views of what is left of the skyline before developers eclipse the last spare spaces with monstrous high-rises. There are a few commercial establishments within the station itself, and others all around it, such as a vape shop, eateries and a bodega."
