"I hear they're raising the fare which I wouldn't mind if my line was getting better service or more buses. If my bus ran like the 126 Hoboken bus I would gladly pay more but it doesn't."

"NJ transit had opportunity to run the business with a succes but around 30years ago. We move forward with technology, people’s attitude but this not apply to nj transit. Buses are never on time (the exception is first stop, and not always), but my main reason in writing this review is that drivers are extremely rude. I had so many bad experiences with them, including throwing me out of bus because I was late and I ran straight to the bus without the ticket. Driver said that technically he can sell me a ticket but he won’t do it. Because he doesn’t want. After that he called his friend to take me out from the bus like criminal. Seriously? The other time I tried to go with my service dog, I have license and I wanted to show it to him but he said I’m not allowed to take the ride without pet kennel. I dont need one, educate your employee’s! I had many many more bad situations and I need to say that I am white and all of them happened from black people, so they have some racism problem!! Change your job if you don’t like it!"

"All driver's (except one lady and one African American driver) I've met have been abusive, impatient and mean. One time, I got on a NJ bus with my mother, who doesn't speak English, and the driver started YELLING at her, asking her (ironically, in broken English): "WHATJUUWAN?" And I had to stand up for my mother and told him "SHE'S ASKING FOR HER TICKET." I have plenty of other stories of these "professional" drivers acting like passengers are cattle. I literally prefer to walk than to take your buses. If I could give you zero stars, I would."

"If there is a -5 star rating, then NJ bus deserves it. 0% of the time Route 156 bus arrives on time. Why can they install a device that will allow passengers to track their buses in real time? Sure as hell it is no fun waiting for the bus during cold winter or super hot summer. Come on."

"Let's talk about too many people on the bus. Covid is not over and standing room is unacceptable. 69 people on a bus, standing room only, and narrow aisle on most buses is ridiculous. If buses are full to capacity there should be a backup bus. Between the bus driver and the guy with the clipboard counting people should have better training. I was walking down Kennedy Boulevard and an elderly woman who was waiting on a bus stop ask if the bus stops where she was. I checked on my phone the timing of the next bus which was going to be in approximately 5 minutes. It was after 9:00 p.m. and I continued walking in my destination. The bus passed her stop without even stopping leaving her to wait 45 more minutes for the next one. Another incident was when an elderly man struggling to get on the bus with a cane almost fell on the floor because the bus driver drove away before he sat down. Like I said, better training."
