"One of the worst experiences of my life and I deserve a partial refund. City Line contracted out to All Together Movers and they were AWFUL! Problems from the start, charged double than quoted, refused to move my couch and left it STANDING UP IN MY KITCHEN for 10 days and NEVER CAME BACK! I had to pay someone else to move it into my living room. I put in complaint to the Better Business Bureau about all this. Miserable! One star is generous. Should be negative 100!"
"In the beginning everything was great. After this company received 2/3s of the money they picked up my stuff. The location of my belongings was never confirmed by anyone even after I called and asked where they were. One day out of the blue I received a call from a storage facility letting me know my storage unit was due to be auctioned off due to nonpayment of storage fees. My belongings were located South of where they were picked up at when I was moving North. I was able to ask twice about arranging a delivery date but was told they would check on that and call me back. They never called back. After leaving a couple messages and then calling once more I was then told the same story. I realized at that point this company did not care if I even got my belongings back. They surely were not going to deliver them to me. I will be contacting the BBB"
"Not recommended at all these are brokers not even moving company they talk to you sweet make you pay the deposit and then assign the job To different people that’s not even expert here is an example of there work , they lie about everything & they don’t do there words Specially if you talk to a guy his name is Daniel Don’t Trust That Guy"
"I am going to say first and foremost, do NOT use this company. This is by far the worst and most unproffesional company I have dealt with for anything that I have ever purchased. First of all, this company is a broker, not a moving company. This company will hire truck drivers to move your things (more on this later). City Line gave me an estimate of $7000 after a 2 hour long inventory check. They requre a 20% down payment that is nonrefundable to proceed. After paying the deposit a separate comapany named "Najjar Brothers LLC" showed up. These guys hardly spoke English. They demanded cash up front which already threw up red flags. These guys said the move was actually going to be over $9000 because they 'would need to fill an entire truck' . These guys show up in sandals mind you. I had not choice but to pay these guys as I already gave them a $2000 deposit. After about 2 hours these movers left my house before completing the job without notice. They failed to answer my calls for over an hour. They left behind 2 TVs a night stand and one of my large paintings behind. Finally after 2 hours they notified me that they would come back tommorow but would have to charge an extra 750$ to pick up my things. Neither company, Najjar brothers or City line, would return ANY of my calls or texts after these guys took my things. Finally after two weeks i hired a lawyer who forced them to respond to us. These guys delivered my things in the back of a uhaul truck and everything was a disaster. It literally looked like my things were thrown into it. Half my items are broken. I have an expensive table I bought that was made in Brazil that is broken. I am missing two boxes full of nice shoes. My two televisions are shattered. My bed mattresses were so dirty and discolored that I told the movers to take them back. My peloton no longer works. They clearly went through my items The owner named 'Dan' promised a 500$ refund and ot never came . All the reviews you read on this company are absolutely true. I am seriously worried if I will ever get my things. My wife is crying and this has been a COMPLETE MESS. I have filed a complaint with the better business berye. Here are some of many photos I have taken of my damaged items. Bottom line, do not hire these guys. Furthermore, if guys call you who hardly speak English and demand cash, definitely DO NOT proceed. You will get robbed, price gouged, and have your stuff delivered broken."
"City Line Movers took complete advantage of me and my family while we were in an awful moving situation. We had no choice but to cancel with our original moving company and had to move that day - our closing date on the sale of our house as well as the closing date on our new home was the next day. They wildly underestimated the cubic footage of our inventory we provided them, as they charge by the cubic foot, and loaded the truck up with all of our things before providing us with an update on the total price of the move. Our price went from around $3,500 to $11,000 to move a 3 bedroom town home less than 30 miles. We had no choice but to handle the negotiation the next day as it was late at night and still needed to complete something's before the closing of both houses the next day. When the next day came - they held all of our belongings on the truck and refused to give anything back until we paid them in full. After negotiating with them we agreed to pay them $8,477. Once paid, they began loading everything where ever they wanted, mostly directly within the front door of our home or into the driveway with the exception of a few items that we absolutely had to insist on where they were going. Once we assume everything was off the truck ( they never said goodbye or let us look to see if the truck was empty) they took off abruptly and wouldn't answer my calls. The company agreed that the movers would not only put our things where they belonged, but also reassemble the furniture. 2/3 of our living room couch was left out on the front deck, the other third was for some reason in the basement and our peloton was left in the middle of the driveway. I spoke with the manager Jennifer that night where she insisted her boss was going to call me in the morning to talk about compensation. He finally called around 11AM one time where I missed his call. I attempted to call him back with no luck. I have since tried calling their office and have not heard back. Two weeks ago."
