"Where do I even begin? I’ll initially say this company was assigned for a move from a broker that hired Hollywood Van lines LLC. (By the way, I’m pretty sure Luxury Van Lines LLC, IS Hollywood Van Lines, and I imagine there was a name change at some point, but I’m confident they are the same seeing the reviews for luxury is literally the same experience I am complaining about and are both in the same location) They were unprofessional and unreliable from day one of the move. It was incredibly hard to track down the dispatch officer and get an accurate timeline on when pick up would be, the broker told us pick up would initially be in the morning within a set time frame and unfortunately we ended up waiting 12 hours for the dispatch officer and movers to arrive at our house. I understand that other clients might’ve had issues that caused delay, but there was absolutely no communication of that to us whatsoever. Because of this we had to rearrange our travel plans which had expenses and unfortunately, this was the beginning of the financial loss we’ve experienced. The movers did a quick job late at night and took our belongings to the warehouse. We were under the impression the same team that moved us out would help us move in, per the broker contract, however, we received a third-party company delivering our items that came incredibly damaged, broken and missing. The delivery movers encouraged us to file a complaint because of all the damage that we received our items. Some of the damage includes a broken snare drum, a broken flatscreen, a broken bed, a broken antique dresser, a broken bookshelf, scratched oil, paintings, shattered kitchenware, openers and stained boxes, crushed boxes, a missing desk and another person’s personal belongings to boot. set The delivery people also suggested that the movers had an issue with us, because it seemed like “there was beef” and this had to be rushed to us. In trying to follow up about our missing item and the other persons items, we have had little to no follow up, and the only information we have received has been from when WE call; never from them. We have lost literally thousands of dollars because of this company and I highly recommend that you stay far away from Hollywood Van lines LLC. I cannot believe they have a broker company using them because of how poorly managed, unreliable and unprofessional they have been."

"Do not go for this Service at any cost, it is not just deliver all of our items, but also they will cheat by changing the price during pickup and at that point we have to go with it. I lost 3-4 boxes, extra money, almost double than they agreed on. Luckily packing done myself, otherwise it would have been a disaster. ***really. Safe Ship Moving Services were the agent for them, it was not SAFE at all. Not sure about other services, better to leave away from these irresponsible service agents. Thanks!"

"This company is out of business and doing business as a new company at the same address and phone number! Reliable Van Lines. Do not use them!! Zero stars really. Please, please do not use this company. And find out who your mover subcontracts with and if it is this company, then ask them to find someone else. They packed countless boxes less than half full. One box had two plates in it. Then they said I had 1850 cubic feet of boxes which is enough for a family of 4 (and the furniture I did have was taken apart and flat). I had no mattress, no couch, no chairs, no dresser, no nightstands. It was less than 850 cubic feet in reality. I had another moving company verify what I had. They said I had 20 wardrobe boxes. I had 14. And the list goes on. All the other box counts were off. See the photos of how my wardrobe boxes were packed. And I have moved over 10 times in my life (2 across country) and have never had damage to my stuff. Never! Until this company. These pictures don’t even show the half of it. Broken bowls and plates, ok I can deal with that but seriously, I wish I had the time to pack myself and that I didn’t need to be out of my apartment that day. But they didn’t offer any solutions other than take less than half my stuff. They know they had me. They are thieves. And today I just found out I have boxes missing but still wouldn’t create that much cubic feet. I requested security video from my building they are sending me so we shall find out the truth."

"Absolute trash of a moving company. Every tote destroyed. 2 hand made Amish chests destroyed. 2 boxes missing, and 3 boxes received that were not ours, 1 being a families entire personal and business tax file with all their personal info. Showed up 4 hours late for pick up and tried telling us they would be at our new home, at a different time than agreed upon, a time we were not there. DO NOT USE Luxury Van Lines LLC"

"If I could give zero stars I would. This company is completely fraudulent. They filled out paperwork on my behalf, writing my initials and insurance choice on my behalf, and misleading me to believe I did not have an option for insurance, stating, “you just need to sign at the bottom of each page”. My initials were forged by the foreman, who at the end of picking up my belongings also took my phone from my hand and sent himself $100 through Venmo, because $200 wasn’t enough of a tip to split for the 90 minutes of work their team of 3 did. They broke many of my possessions, costing me thousands of dollars in damages. They also increased the cubic feet that I had initially been quoted for, with the same inventory list on the quote, by more than double. This more than doubled the total cost of the move. I did not choose Luxury Van Lines for my move, nor would I have ever chose them if given the choice, based on their reviews on the Better Business Bureau. For the sake of you mental health, and for the sake of your belongings, DO NOT contract with this scam."
