"I hired prudential van lines for my last move purely because of their awesome reputation. But to be frank, I was quite worried about how they were going to handle everything. They turned out to be very professional. They sent over 4 movers who had years of experience under their belts. Everything went like clockworks. They wrapped everything neatly and then loaded the boxes and furniture onto the vans carefully. They were done with everything so quick that I believe I saved at least 2 hours of extra wages. I will definitely recommend them."
"As my posting was confirmed, I was hunting for a moderately priced, but efficient, moving company. Most people I talked to told me that Prudential van lines is the way to go. I really didn’t know much about them. Their quote seemed reasonable enough. But the real proof of how good this company is came from their movers. These men were just machines. They worked tirelessly to pack everything from my 3-bedroom house. The loading process went very smoothly. I received my valuables at my new house right on the scheduled time. I think I got totally lucky with these guys. Or maybe they really are that good!"
"Our move was coordinated by my father. He used Prudential van lines before this time and their interaction was quite good. Our mover communicated with us constantly. This was our first cross state move and that was marvelous. They assured us that all belongings would arrive safely in our new home. My father was a little expert in packing. So he packed everything by himself. Of course we all helped him. They served the boxes and materials. We needed to store our goods for a month. Our new home was not ready then. After a month we collected our full items, no missing at all. My father thanked them for their great effort."
"My husband and I decided to move back to our hometown after retirement. We had lived in our old house for 22 years and we were so sad to leave. Prudential van lines made our move seem like a fun thing to do. The movers were so friendly. They arrived right on time and packed everything very quickly. We had no issues while they packed and loaded all our valuables. We had sold our car. So we asked if they could give us a lift. They happily obliged. I have rarely seen such friendly and helpful men before. The company was adequately priced as well."
"An all around awful experience. They didn't complete the full job in the time quoted and refused to finish the job unless we paid extra. They scratched the paint, scraped the floors, and scraped the furniture. They also wrote on the furniture in permanent marker. We got a quote that listed all the pieces of furniture we wanted to move, and included any disassembling/reassembling required and packing/wrapping the furniture. They refused to move our kitchen table unless we paid them extra. They wouldn't move our bedroom armoire unless my husband disassembled it (they refused to disassemble it themselves). They ignored the bookshelf altogether. When we got to the new place, they left the bedroom armoire in pieces in the kitchen, and the couch in the middle of the unfinished basement because it wouldn't fit through the door unless it was disassembled. The quote was given based on an estimated number of work hours. I specifically asked them if the furniture we listed would be doable in the time frame they gave me, and they assured me it would be. Yet somehow, in spite of the fact that they moved less than what was written in the quote, and didn't disassemble/reassemble the furniture as stated, they ran out of time. As soon as time was up, they stopped working and if we wanted them to do anything more, the foreman quoted me a higher hourly rate than was listed in the original invoice. I didn't want to pay extra for a job that was supposed to have been done within the time frame, so they left the job half done with pieces of furniture in random places (including the old house!)"
