"Pretty Cool, I’ve been waiting here for my train since 1937, I’m getting kinda hungry"
"I grew up in the area knowing this place as "Dracula's cave" lol"
"The line still exists in the Bronx as the 5 train, and merges with the White Plains Road line at East 180th Street. Only a REAL rail fan would have marked this! Cheers!"
"I always wondered about certain things I saw around Mount Vernon, including this remnant of a train station (also concrete embankments on Kingsbridge Road and at the end of South Third Avenue). Then one day by chance I saw White Plains Greenway on Google Maps, looked it up, and found out about this railway. Great to see the historical landmarks. Too bad there's nothing actually on-site to mark it..."
