"2023-01-29 always pass through here on MetroNorth from north of here after Vine cutting along the Bronx River or parkway there's always this culvert just north of the road crossing the river discharging into the river. Am presuming this is just drainage and not sewage."

"Never had a problem, occasionally I’ve seen people smoke weed at the very end of the walk way, from Wakefield it’s about 30 min to Grand Central."

"Been taking Metro North from this station for 25 years, on and off for the past few. One of the only stations where you can find street parking and walk to the platform. Most stations have parking lots where you have to pay monthly or daily fees and be there before 6am to get a spot. Wakefield is also the last stop in the Bronx so the monthly pass is a little cheaper and you are right on the border of Westchester. Station is clean and usually not overcrowded. Ticket machines on both platforms. One negative is it's only a 4 car platform so when getting off here make sure you are in the right car because if there are more than 4 cars only front 4 or rear 4 are going to open on the platform to get off."

"Spotless station. Trains stop here about every hour. On each platform there's ticket machines, as well as a little shelter with heat to wait in the colder months."
