"Not helpful at all. The register gave me a hard time to change a misspelled last name. I needed to change a U for a V. I spoke with the department of health 3 times and they told just fill up a form and give them supporting documents of the correct last name and she keeps saying she cant help me. Its very frustrating that the place I paid my taxes can help with a simple thing and she can even give proof of why she cant help."

"They are very knowledgeable here and gave me a lot of information. The county clerk is a decent human being. They had taken the time to speak to me. Without answers I would have been lost. The Judge here recognized a true loser and protected my family and I. I have been in counties in NYS where it’s been the exact opposite where government officials do not follow the laws. I feel the Suffern community is one that wants every citizen to be safe."

"The woman at the front desk was very helpful with our inquiry about the boundaries of the Village. It was really a question for the building dept. but they weren't in so she offered to help."
