"Absolutely horrible experience. We purchased a 10x10 unit a few weeks ago and when we show up with our filled up u-haul, the unit was only about 6x8. Frank the manager insisted it was 10x10 until he measured the width in steps and says “I guess you guys are right.” We go back to the office to see if there are any larger units available and we were told there were other 10x10 units that were $100 more a month, but were along the same wall as the unit we just looked at, so in reality they most likely weren’t 100 square feet. Mind you we already purchased the 10x10 so this is what we were expecting. Frank then gives us 3 options- take the smaller unit (which wouldn’t fit the items we had in the U-Haul), purchase another “10x10” for twice the price we originally paid for over the phone, or wait until Monday to get a refund. I asked Frank why would it even be advertised that the unit is 10x10 when they aren’t and he says well those are just approximate. “Approximate” isn’t off by more than 40 square feet…. He then tells us he’s just a manager and doesn’t own the place, so he doesn’t make the measurements and that his only responsibilities include sweeping floors and unlocking doors. This place is shady and they sucker you in with low advertised prices, knowing you won’t walk away with a truck load of items, then charge you twice as much for the same size unit you already purchased. We walked right out and got a much larger unit for the same price at a nearby storage facility."
"TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE! Got there to get our storage unit and had to check in at the desk since it was our first time there. Frank took us to see our storage unit and to our surprise it was much smaller than we reserved. Frank, seemed to not believe this was the case and felt a walking test was the appropriate way to prove this. Fortunately for us, he realized this was in fact smaller than we reserved. When we returned to the office with him he called the district manager who decided our only options were to keep the small unit, pay $100+ more per month for a bigger one, or get a refund. Frank and said manager had zero desire to provide appropriate customer service to remedy the situation. Mind you, we had a U-Haul filled with items that had to be moved ASAP. Instead, we got a “oh well” type of response. Save your time and money, do not come here. It appears there was a reason for the cheap cost, it’s matched with no customer service."
