About Us
Welcome to the Livingston Dog Park, a vibrant community hub for dog lovers located in Livingston, New Jersey. Our park features two spacious, fenced-in areas where dogs can socialize and exercise off-leash, all under the watchful supervision of their owners. Both areas are equipped with benches and shaded spots to ensure a comfortable visit for everyone. The large dog park also boasts a water fountain, available during frost-free days, to keep your furry friends hydrated.
In addition to the dedicated dog areas, the park is home to the East Hills Park nature trail—a scenic 1.5-mile path through wooded terrain, complete with fitness stations. While exploring the nature trail, dogs must remain on a leash to ensure safety for all visitors.
To enjoy the Livingston Dog Park, each dog must be registered with the Livingston Health Department, and a Livingston Dog Park Pass must be obtained. Passes are valid until January 31st each year, and detailed registration instructions are available for download on our website.
The Friends of Livingston Dog Parks extend heartfelt thanks to the generous individuals and businesses whose support has made our park a reality. We are always seeking dedicated volunteers to help maintain and enhance the park’s beauty and functionality. Opportunities are available for Dog Park Monitors and participants in our Communications, Maintenance, Beautification, Fundraising, or Special Events subcommittees. If you’re interested in volunteering or need more information, please reach out to us via email.

"Nice and all the dogs got along"
"It's a good place for dogs."
"Not just a dog park, has some nice little trails for walking if you need to clear your head"
"No frills dog park with a separate space for small dogs. Oddly had a lot of benches - not complaining, it just seems unnecessary and would be better to have equipment for the dogs. I gave only two stars mainly because the two elderly women with golden retrievers I encountered were nasty, and didn't pick up after their dogs. I agree with another reviewer that it's a good place if you're looking for a quiet low traffic environment as it doesn't seem very popular."
"Rarely any dogs here. Owners don’t pick up after their dogs. Ok place. South mountain is better but if you want to give your dog some low key exercise or training this is a good place."
