"Gorgeous synagogue"
"I went to Etz Chaim a few times after coming to Livingston for a Job. I Facebook messaged the Rabbi and told him that I am coming to shul trying to see how Jewish people live. That, I was orphaned in Europe at a young age due to violence, but I was Jewish. I lived with non Jews ever since. I saw their website and it was very welcoming sounding. That I have earned my PhD, that I'm not begging because I have a decent job. He responded by saying LOL, and after that when I went to shul I was Charlie Chaplined, which is doing silent things around you to alarm you, and conversations took place around me regarding theft and security cameras and etc. I did not come back after a few times. I needed human connection badly, going through divorce and having no real family. Later, one of the members from there told me that they have 3 very wealthy members that they are protecting, as an explanation for why I was pushed out."
"Very warm, welcoming community. Very diverse group of people."
