"It's good when it doesn't flood. I've been a customer for 3 years and our unit has flooded twice. Once in Sept 2021 and currently in Jan 2024. No accountability from the facility/company. Knowing that the place is prone to flooding, they have done nothing to warn prospective or current customers. It's you holding the bag (or wet cardboard)! We pay a premium for an indoor facility and the only 'empathy' you get is from the other customers lending you a shop vac."

"I am so grateful to Columbia Self Storage. I'm on the board with Fighting Children's Cancer Foundation and we really needed space for four months for our annual gala. Columbia Self Storage was incredibly generous and so great to work with. They have great service, wonderful people, and caring owners. I highly recommend!"

"HUGE CEILING LEAK ISSUE. For what it's worth, the staff here is very friendly and willing to help out. It sounds like it's mainly contracting issues prolonging the leaks. However, as a place to store valuables, this one fails. We double wrapped mostly everything in plastic and used tarps as a covering incase something like this happened. If we didn't, we probably would've lost over $10000 worth of stuff. This place only pays up to $1000 in damages. We saw someone carting everything from his unit into a dumpster after it was destroyed by the water. A response by the owner to an earlier review said the leaks would be fixed June of last year. That was 7 months ago. If you have anything valuable and/or remotely sensitive to moisture stored here, GET IT OUT NOW. CHECK YOUR UNIT FOR WATER DAMAGE IMMEDIATELY. Attached below is a picture of the floor of the unit and the only box we left uncovered there. Cheers."

"PROCESS TO SECURE A STORAGE UNIT WAS QUICK AND EFFORTLESS. RANEISHA SHOWED ME SEVERAL OPTIONS AVAILABLE. SHE WAS PLEASANT, AND EFFICIENT. SHE IS A GOOD REPRESENTATIVE FOR COLUMBIA STORAGE."

"Lourdes at the West Caldwell facility was wonderful - very friendly, thorough and explained everything clearly. She made the process easy and a pleasure. The facility is very clean and has convenient office hours. I was able to purchase several useful packing supplies as well."
