"I’ve had several bad experiences here, in short the work is often done using sub standard parts and labor. The owner is quick to take your money but won’t take the time to properly check his work. I won’t be returning after the last time he installed a crank that wouldn’t catch the gears correctly and a pedal that looked used and shoddy and fell off completely leaving me stranded. When I informed him of these problems and asked him to fix them he didnt have the courtesy to respond."

"Today, I went to this shop to repair my ebike. I asked the repair cost. The old guy told me the cost which is too much. Then I told him how much I can pay. Then the old guy become very angry on me. It's a terrible behaviour. I will not recommend anyone to go this store. Note: Then I repaired my ebike in other store less than half of the cost."

"Took my ebike in due to powering off after trying to throttle. Gustavo was willing to check out the bike. Wait wasn't long and he began to do an electrical test on the motor and the controller. Diagnosed the problem and educated me on different things. Due to the small size of my controller, shops don't carry a replacement. Have to go through my ebike company. Gustavo is the first electronically skilled bike mechanic I've trusted and knows what he's doing. Other ebike shops aren't as trained or skilled in electrical work that I've experienced and visited. He has an assistant that's nice and very helpful. Prices are not high and he explains what needs to be done after diagnosis."

"The BEST service. The NICEST people. The FASTEST turnaround. Most FAIR PRICED assembly in the neighborhood! My story - I work from home, frustrated with a) added lbs from being so sedentary b) weather becoming nicer with Spring blooming and wanting to just go out more c) not knowing how to ride a bike... I thought it would be a great idea to get an adult trike! Took my trike to Sunnyside E-Bikes to assemble - super reasonable quote at less than $50, they had it assembled in less than 3 hours! Much to my absolute disappointment, no matter what I tried the trike would not fit through my front door! I took it back, they agreed to hold it for me overnight *I didn't have a lock and even so, even they agreed, it'd probably get stolen by morning*. I was unable to source any bike storage solutions so I had them disassemble it and pack it back up for return. Not for one second, not once, did I ever feel judged, or silly or dumb and they even took a few dollars off as a gesture of goodwill for breaking down the bike again. They went above and beyond to help me. They were SO NICE!!!. I have to say, if the tables were turned, I'm not sure I'd have the same patience and grace! They were so wonderful, treated me well and never made me feel badly. I recommend these wonderful people to anyone in NYC looking to support a wonderful small business of experienced and wonderful bike experts!"
