Life Time

"This gym is unbelievably bad, not just for the life time banner. There are just 2 squats racks in the entire gym, which is just two small, super cramped floors. There wasn’t enough space to do anything but stay on a cardio machine at 7am."

"Ever since the change over in management I haven't seen a more miserable staff. Whoever is in charge needs to get checked. People are disappearing from employment left and right and the hospitality I'm used to is gone. Id rather be at blink if I'm seeing the folks that made me feel comfortable and happy go."

"I had a great class here with Miranda R., Ultra Fit! She was professional, motivating, and helpful. I brought my partner for his first time in the gym and he also loved it and left feeling inspired, mostly because of the great teacher. I would 100% recommend this class and teacher!"

"I joined right when it opened and have signature membership. It's good for a quick workout before work. It's not as big or even well appointed as the dumbo location or for any other lifetime I've been at across the country. I really like Lifetime but I wouldn't promote this location to anyone. My biggest complaint here is the dressing room. It's warmer inside the men's dressing room than it is outside when it was 90+ degrees out. Most of us go there before work and get dressed for the office. However, 90% of the people I see leave dripping sweat. The first comment I got back was "people like to burn extra calories" which doesn't seem at all reasonable to me (you burn an extra calorie or two in exchange to leave dripping sweat and overheated). I've mentioned this and other possible small changes to improve the user experience. No one followed up with me and when I asked what was the feedback from management all the employee said was its not something they can do. Again, these were very reasonable and easy suggestions (slightly cooler in locker rooms, having sufficient small towels, have a clean lifting area). Again, I would advise people if they do want to join Lifetime to go to other locations and you may be more impressed."

"I’ve been to fair share of gym in manhattan and recently retired from equinox. This place makes me feel positive energy and welcomed. Even the maintenance staff are friendly unlike equinox, I think that goes to show what type of company Lifetime is."
