"Subject: Complaint of Discrimination Dear Shaun Nordlie, I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to bring to your attention a deeply concerning incident of discrimination that I recently experienced at one of your employee’s hands. I have video footage of this matter. I believe it is crucial for your organization to be aware of such incidents, as they not only tarnish your reputation but also have a significant impact on the individuals involved. On December 26th approx: 1:55 pm; I visited your premises located at Hemlock Farms community. Upon arrival, I was met by one of your employees, gate attendant who, once I gave the entrance pass with my fiancé‘s name on it, with a sharp tone told me that “this isn’t you on this pass” this is a man’s name!” I told her I was aware, that she could call the residence for clearance. She continued to yell through the glass partition, opening and closing. I immediately called my fiancé. While I was on the phone with him , to my shock and dismay, she made a blatantly racist remark and refused to allow me entry through the gate. Furthermore, the gate attendee proceeded to call the police. A Mr. Barrett arrived and spoke with the gate attendant then approached my car screaming so hard he spit in my face. I want to emphasize the distress and humiliation I felt during this incident. Discrimination, in any form, is not only morally reprehensible but also illegal. It is disheartening to think that such behavior could occur within your organization, as it goes against the principles of fairness, equality, and respect that should be upheld by all employers. I am writing this letter to request that your organization investigate this incident thoroughly and take appropriate action against gate attendee. I urge you to hold the woman accountable for her actions and ensure that such behavior is not tolerated within your organization. Additionally, I kindly request that you implement measures to prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future. I have also taken the necessary steps to report this incident to the local authorities, as well as sought legal advice to protect my rights and seek appropriate redress. I trust that your organization will cooperate fully with any investigations that may arise from this incident. Furthermore, I am considering sharing my experience publicly to raise awareness about the issue of discrimination and the importance of combating it. I believe it is crucial for organizations to take proactive steps to address discrimination and create an inclusive and welcoming environment for all individuals. I look forward to hearing from you within seven business days regarding the actions your organization intends to take to address this matter. Should I not receive a satisfactory response, I may be compelled to explore further legal options and seek public exposure of this incident. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
