"This gym is supposed to be a “signature” gym, yet it seems more like the competition for Planet Fitness. The equipment is very old, there is no proper AC, the people that go here have no boundaries or respect for others, and the cleaners, well, just one of them, are constantly making inappropriate comments with the other guests. I’m unsure why they are not hiring male cleaners to clean the male locker room. The pool has been broken since April and is still not working; the towel service is a mess. I am paying for that, and the front desk is just giving it to anyone, and I cannot have one because they are constantly running out."
"The individual at the front desk, Yasmine, demonstrated a lack of professionalism and courtesy in her communication with me. She incorrectly denied me access to the gym, claiming that I do not have the appropriate membership and that we had previously discussed this matter, which is entirely untrue. I have never interacted with her before. Additionally, she provided false information about a $10 fee, which could have been acceptable if communicated appropriately. Furthermore, the condition of the equipment at this particular LA Fitness location is concerning. Many of the machines are rusty or dirty, and the dumbbells are mixed in with those from Esporta, LA Fitness's budget brand. This is in stark contrast to other LA Fitness gyms I have visited, which have generally maintained their equipment in better condition. The overall experience at this LA Fitness location was disappointing, and the behavior of the front desk staff, particularly Yasmine, was unprofessional and misleading."
"Juan- Worst customer service ever experience. Every time I come to this gym the managers are really nice but this guy it’s horrible! I schedule a appointment about a month ago to see the membership options and he told me to sit and asked him for the prices and the memberships four times and he didn’t even handed a paper or wanted to explain them to me he refused. I also login for a free pass couple of weeks ago to try out the equipments and get to know the gym but he deny it and said I wasn’t approved when I clearly showed him the code and all info was accurate. He’s not good at customer service and should learn to treat people properly. Recently I came with my friends (one of them could bring two people from his membership) and we were already registered on the system with him and he refused to let us pass. With managers and other associates we always were able to pass because it was clear we were on the system. But he said “I’ve never seen your faces around here” and he also told us “I’ve been working three days here” when he’s obviously been for a while. It was really disappointing the customer service he gave us and the attitude as nobody deserves that and he’s not representing not even in a minor profesional way where he works I wish managers take actions instead of making excuses for things like that. If you ever come to this gym avoid this guy. Juan is terrible at treating people with respect as everyone deserves."
"I am giving this review of one star only because I can't give zero. Many of the machines are broken and the pool has been closed for months now. Today another member said that all they are waiting for is to close the contract to give up the location. I am locked in a contract, but do yourself a favor and don't coke here. It is the one in Secaucus btw."
"Most of the machines are broken, the place is dirty, and the pool and basketball court have been closed for about seven months due to “maintenance.” However, I haven’t seen anyone working on them. Don’t bother joining this place. Update: The pool is still closed, more machines are broken, and still no one is fixing them. Additionally, if you want to cancel your membership, you have to go there between 10 AM and 5 PM, which is when most people are working or attending school. Isn’t that amazing?"
