"People think that two weeks of camp is a lot, but at camp Watonka there are so many activities that you couldn't do all of them in just two weeks. There waterfront is amazing with fishing, swimming, paddle boarding kayaking, canoeing, boating and even climbing. Not only that but the sciences are really fun and there are things that you couldn't do until you are 16 at other camps and they most definitely teach these programslike mini bikes way better than other camps. I would highly recommend this camp to anyone who wants to have a great summer"

"This summer will be my 5th year at Camp Watonka, and it will also be my last year. First and foremost, I would like to say that this camp is quite possibly the best camp that I have been to and will ever go to. The wide variety of activities that are provided by the camp are enough to keep anyone occupied for an entire summer, and it sure kept me through the past 5 years. It has everything that a boy could ever want, Science, Sports, and Adventure. (A full disclaimer, the camp is very suited towards Science and Adventure, so if you are just into the sports, I would not suggest you go.) One of the crown jewels of Camp Watonka is the marksmanship program, which counts as a sport. I understand some parents may have concerns over their kid rootin and shootin, but I started rifle when I was just 11 years old, and this summer, I hope to achieve the expert badge. The rifle instructor their, Joe Macey, is also one of the funniest and down-to-earth people that I have met. He has plenty of stories to tell and he puts safety first on the rifle range. I would absolutely recomend this camp to anyone who is looking for a chance to get outside while also exploring their interests in science and technology."
"The owners and staff of Camp Watonka are top notch! My son will be attending Camp Watonka for his 6th year. He absolutely loves it! We plan our Summer around it and talk about it throughout the year. Most of the counselors are from other countries, adding that bit of worldly culture for the campers. The activities are amazing, fishing, swimming, climbing, archery, shooting, dirt biking, robotics, rocketry and more. We have attended every closing ceremony, where the campers receive all of their awards and ribbons for their achievements. The shooting instructor, Joe Macey, give such a touching speech each year, which is funny, heart warming and very emotional. Can't ask for a better experience for our child."
"I stayed in cabin 3. The food was good. The mini bikes were the best part. You must be 10 years old to ride the mini bikes. I completed the web design class. It was a cool class."
