"Terrible experience at new Planet Fitness in Hawthorne, NJ. As a first time guest and PF existing customer, they refused to let me use the gym because of an issue with my account, which has been cleared up. (I would note that if I came in as a stranger and ask for a guest day pass to try the gym out I would been given one.) Management, Jocelyn, gets a thumbs down and should be trained in "good" customer service. They could learn from Hampton Bays. I love my home Planet Fitness, Hampron Bays, LI. . Always friendly and clean. Staff are great! Love my Planet Fitness - yay Hampton Bays!!!"

"When I first came into the gym I thought wow this gym is great is brand new with nee equipment and an open space on the first floor. It also included a second floor where most of the weight equipment lives. Now yes having multiple floor can make a space feel open and great, but sadly the second floor is the reasoning for my three star review. I’ll keep it blunt the second floor sucks. I go in the morning (6-8am) and already feel clustered I can only imagine how is full it’s on rush hours. I would suggest moving the cardio machine to the second floor. You don’t need to worry about personal space as much with those type of machines."

"By far the most updated Planet fitness location I’ve been to. You’re greeted by the young gentleman at the front desk. Their sign up station was decorated to the season. Everywhere was so clean. The machines are new. There are two levels to this location. My favorite location so far."

"I’ve been going to this gym on and off for a few years & I can only say the best when it comes to this location. This specific planet fitness is always clean and stocked with plenty of snacks. Staff have always been super helpful. A specific employee, OJ, was very helpful when giving me a tour when I decided to join again and even let me try the total body enhancement machine along with the massage chairs. There’s plenty of parking and you can even request music from your phone to play through the speakers. The best gym in the game."

"This is a very personal experience - I did not really like this location because I am disabled and many machines were hard to use and balance on, unlike the older machines at my regular location, The upstairs was very crowded and actually intimidating, unlike what they are going for. Machines seemed packed in there However, the massage creates were fantastic and the newer bikes were smoother. I likely will not be returning here, which annoys me because of the location's proximity to a regular appointment. Again, this is a very personal experience. I will say, for the injured, older and recovering, I do not recommend this location."
