"I have been to many Crossfits around the tri-state area and I can hands down say Guerrilla Fitness has been the best experience. I am here since they opened and I am still motivated and love all our coaches! The Gym ( the box) is always super clean and they have nice bathrooms and showers, which most CF boxes do not have.. Joe and ALL the coaches are incredibly knowledgeable and supportive, always pushing me to reach my full potential and fitness goals. "Posting as an almost 40 year old woman with three young children….Why you should join this gym: 1) the space. It’s huge. It has plenty of room for you to work out safely and comfortably and it’s beautiful!!! 2) the coaches. They are caring and support a great, welcoming community. They have been sensitive to my needs as a pregnant athlete and postpartum athlete. I had never been an athlete before I started at this gym! I may not be able to keep up with the scheduled workouts but they always help to scale the workout appropriately and stress the importance of just showing up and trying your best. Don’t forget to put lots of rest in your schedule when you start if you have never weight lifted before! 3) life long health and mobility gains. As a mom of 3, going to the gym helped me get rid of my chronic back pain and has allowed me to (mainly) keep up with the demands of being a mom. A friend recently said to me “most people would die for their kids- but are they willing to do what it takes to LIVE for your kids?” It is both a selfish and selfless act to work out with this intensity. "Amazing place to work out! The coaches are extremely supportive and helpful. It doesn't matter if you are a beginner or an expert. For a beginner there are always modifications if you need them, and if you are an expert the workout is always tough. The other members are fantastic too. This is the only place I have gone where the members cheer each other on. It is a great community."
