"I wish I found Cheryl sooner. I have been a yogi for 18 years and 2 years ago I was told by doctors to stop practicing due to lower back issues. After trying injections, physical therapy and acupuncture, with nothing helping,I decided I was going to live with the pain and get back to my practice for my mental health. So I tried many gentle classes in the area but after about a month I was right back to where I started...in pain. I found Cheryl online and decided to inquire about her classes. She took the time to speak to me on the phone and said “I can help you”. I was skeptical but after 6 months I can honestly say she was right. She retrained me to practice yoga for me. Not how it looks in Yoga Journal or the yogi on the mat next to me but how to practice for the body I am in today. My pain has diminished tremendously and I am getting better and stronger everyday. Cheryl has so much knowledge of yoga that she shares with you which helps you implement it both on and off the mat. I would highly recommend this wonderful yogi, if you are starting out, are rehabbing an injury or just want to further your practice. Her classes are like having a private session within a small group class setting. You get personal attention without paying for a private session. She takes the time to get to know you so she can help you develop your own personal practice. I am very grateful I get to practice with her."

"Cheryl is absolutely amazing. She is a Yoga Therapist and teaches each of her students individually. She teaches you so that you are able to have your own practice. I love seeing her every week and I have seen so much improvement in my flexibility. My body just feels and looks different. As a beginner, Cheryl starts you off with a 4 class package where she will personally coach and show you each pose for your personal practice. She focuses on teaching you the correct alignment for you and is able to modify stretches to your ability. Her classes are small group but highly individual. After the four initial classes, you are able to actually have your own individual practice to use at home and then improve and add to weekly. I have seen improvement every week. I started Cheryl's classes in April and I look forward to seeing her every week. Just recently, I have literally had a pain in my butt. Cheryl modified my practice and gave me stretches to help ease the pain of the piriformis muscle. Whenever I leave her class I feel better than when I go in. Cheryl was able to help me more than seeing the doctor. If you are new to yoga or have experience, Cheryl will help you to improve your practice. Her classes are not group led where the teacher is in the front leading a class. Cheryl guides and leads each individual student and is constantly improving her students practice. I am able to apply what I have learned in her classes to help improve my life. I am so appreciative that she offers her unique classes.
