"Robert has helped me with multiple real estate deals. Always a pleasure working with him. Gets the Job done right."
"Gouldin Law Office has been great to work with since day one. I needed a lawyer to represent me in my divorce and a friend suggested Gouldin Law. As soon as I walked into his office, I knew I was in good hands. Bob was professional, straight-forward and got me through a really tough time in my life. He fights hard for his clients and truly goes above and beyond to take care of them. If you want a lawyer you can trust, someone to help you take care of your legal matter..go to Gouldin Law!"
"Been waiting over 9 months for him to send an agreement to the court with nothing done. Doesnt answer questions, very unprofessional , very disorganized, misses deadlines. When he does appear in court and he is spotted on things, he loses it and then does even less. Dont bother calling his secretary. Her favorite line is "I'll get back to you today" and that never comes. Emails dont work. Horrible. 9 months and counting 8 pages of an agreement just cant make it to any court , especially not the right court. Has had several opportunities to fix the issue and just ignores the issue."
"I chose this law firm for two reasons. I was involved in a private sale of my home and all the details had been worked out and contracts developed and signed . We needed an attorney to properly complete the necessary filing with the county . Mr. Gouldin agreed to represent both myself , the seller and the buyers. I was also impressed by all the positive reviews his firm had received . Unfortunately my experience was quite different . About a month after out initial meeting I began to wonder why I'd received no word about closing. I sent an email requesting an update. Three days later ,when I'd received no response ,I called the office . I spoke with Marissa who said it looked like we were ready to close but she first wanted to double check with the attorney . Since she also informed me that Mr. Gouldin had made some changes to the agreement between myself and the buyers I asked her to email a draft so I could see it. She agreed. She also stated I needed to sign some papers and she was overnighting them that morning. Two days later, having heard nor received anything I called again . Marissa stated she could not check on the overnight package nor could she provide a tracking number since the person responsible was not in. She further informed me Mr. Gouldin was "not quite finished " with the changes to the agreement . Three days later ,again having heard nothing nor having received nothing I called again . I was told by Marissa they had no idea if the package had been overnighted or not since they couldn't find any record of it. She then offered to email me the documents. I requested she do that in the first place and was originally told she could not do that. She said she would email the documents along with a draft of the agreement that afternoon . Four days later I finally received an email. There was no draft of the agreement between myself and the buyers . I immediately began trying to contact someone at the office and was sent directly to voicemail . My request for a return call went unanswered and I subsequently left several more voicemails with an increasingly urgency. Finally ,a little after 5 pm Mr.Gouldin called and asked me what my problem was. He expressed his incredulity that I wanted to review his changes prior to closing. Finally about 2 weeks later, the sale closed. I contacted the office again about a month later to inquire whether the documents had been filed with the clerk's office and if they would send me a signed agreement between myself and the buyers. I was informed by Marissa that sometimes the county took up to 2 months to get paperwork filed. This was not my first experience transferring property and was surprised it would take that long. I called the county myself and spoke with the deputy clerk who stated they had not received the paperwork from the law office. I contacted Marissa again and informed her of what I'd been told and she said the county lost the paperwork but she would have someone hand deliver it the following Monday . I contacted her again on Tuesday to confirm and she confirmed the paperwork had been hand delivered the day before and the clerk said it would be the end of the week before they filed it. By now I didn't believe anything I was told so I again called the county and spoke with the deputy clerk who stated they had received the paperwork in the mail on Monday ,it had not been hand delivered but it had already been filed. Finally ,in our initial meeting with Mr. Gouldin he quoted his fee as being $700 which myself and the buyers would split. It ended up with him charging each of us $700. Think twice before engaging this firm. They are untrustworthy and untruthful."
"Awesome guy. Great experience. He was very knowledgeable and always took the time out of his busy day to help answer my questions. I felt so comfortable talking to him and would suggest him if you ever have legal needs. He gets things done quick and right."
