Susan is doing everything in her power to fix it, which is never easy after the fact. My ex is a narcissist and she sees right through him. She knows exactly how to handle him. She is kind and understanding and very artistic. Different then any attorney I have ever spoke to. Her motion writing skills are outstanding! I almost might frame the first one I signed. "If I could give a -1 I certainly would. I started my uncontested divorce proceeding June 2020 and the matter wasn't resolved in its entirety until October 2021. The initial intake went well as I sat with the firm's legal assistant Alicia. I completed all required paperwork and provided her with all pertinent information for myself and my ex. About two weeks later I received a draft of the paperwork which entailed the wrong names and addresses. I proofed the document as well as made the necessary changes and emailed back. This back and forth process went on until November 2020. During this five-month window, there was a lack of communication, ignored emails and phone calls. However, if I called the facility from an unknown number I was able to reach reception. Fast forward to January 2021 I was informed due to the pandemic things within the court system were moving at a snail's place but I was assured my documents had been emailed to the court for processing. Fast forward to March 2021 I had to leave three messages before I was able to speak with Donna the new legal assistant. She informed me she was sick and wasn't able to return my calls but in addition, their previous employee Alicia had quit the firm and hadn't processed my paperwork. Now I'm livid, so I demand to speak with Susan whom I had never met nor spoken to. Within an hour I was on the phone with Susan who took no accountability for anything. She blamed Alicia and an unfortunate office break-in; for the lack of professionalism and the firm's inability to file an uncontested divorce in a timely manner. (Which I was initially told would take six months max). She then proceeded to inform me due to the mishap she wouldn't charge me for the processing server which was also a total nightmare. I gave very precise details when and where to serve my ex and they did the complete opposite. For the level of service, this sh!t show provides it would be better suited if they practiced law for free at a comedy club. What a bunch of silly, incompetent, unprofessional, group of people. Needless to say, I still haven't received the official copy of my divorce decree which Donna blatantly lied and said was mailed in early October. I took the hour-long drive to the office and picked up a raggedy, copy that had whole punches and staple removal marks. I was desperate to obtain. People do yourself a HUGE favor and stand clear of this firm. It is horrific and downright despicable."
