Nestled in the heart of East Herkimer, New York, at 161 Valley Drive, Valley Residential Services offers an exceptional senior living experience with the cozy charm of an Adirondack lodge. Our health-focused community is dedicated to providing the necessary support services that empower our residents to maintain their independence while enjoying a vibrant community life.

COVID-19 Safety Measures:

At Valley Residential Services, the health and safety of our residents and visitors is our top priority. All visitors are required to wear a mask. We kindly ask those displaying symptoms of COVID-19, or who have had recent exposure or a positive test result, to postpone their visit. Our residents are continuously monitored for signs and symptoms to ensure a safe environment for everyone.

Living Accommodations and Amenities:

Our facility offers a variety of living options, including efficiency apartments complete with a kitchenette, living room, bedroom, and bathroom. Residents enjoy three delicious meals daily in the Community Foundation Dining Room, along with housekeeping, maintenance, and transportation services. Personal assistance is available as needed to enhance our residents' quality of life.

Valley Residential Services boasts a wealth of amenities, including a café, library, game room, Adirondack-style porch, hair and nail salon, spacious courtyard, and a classroom for educational programs. Residents can also take advantage of our transportation services to local shopping areas. Our new wing features fourteen spacious apartments suitable for couples, some with dens and two baths, and includes a wellness gym and a beautiful family gathering space.

Community and Engagement:

Daily activities and scheduled outings keep our residents engaged and active. Our facility is designed to foster a sense of community while providing residents with their own comfortable, fully furnished apartment-style rooms. Alternatively, residents are welcome to bring their own furniture to personalize their space.
