"So far this location is 10x better than the wading river location. I was in and out for my appointment in a timely manor, the girls at the front desk are kind and helpful, and Julia the midwife was amazing! She took her time and didn’t make me feel rushed which can happen a lot for check ups during pregnancy. I do agree with other reviews that this office needs more female Doctors though."

"I switched to this office many years ago and have been very happy with Dr Hunter and the women there. A few weeks ago I received a letter that one of the women was leaving, today another ....and Dr Hunter is out on maternity leave. So , this office is now exclusively male practitioners. I'm not a fan of this . So many women have been through so many things in their lives and don't want random men down there . Time to find a new office all together. It's a bad sign when all the ladies vacate an office"

"Would never recommend. I decided for my third pregnancy, to switch from StoneyBrook to here just to be closer to home. I wish when I called to schedule and was told the midwife I was recommended left the practice, that I took that as a sign of what was to come. As others have noted, some of the front desk staff are not very helpful. More than once, I was waiting, to overhear that I was never checked in. Multiple appointments were booked incorrectly, or just were not booked all together. I asked multiple times to be scheduled with ONLY delivering doctors/midwives to get to know potential providers that could deliver my child, and NEVER was scheduled this way. I was still going there at 7 months pregnant, and still had not met one potential provider that could deliver my child. Even more frustrating, every time I would see a different provider I would get told something different. One would say, you need to book an extra sono, the next would say no that’s unnecessary cancel that , then the next would say yes you do need it reschedule. This caused so much extra stress and confusion for me, when I haven’t even had a high risk pregnancy. While a patient there, another provider left the practice- not a good sign when providers are leaving the practice!!! I finally decided I was completely uncomfortable with the practice and couldn’t imagine delivering my baby with them. I have since switched back to Stoneybrook midwives and wish I had never stopped going there. SO much more professional, and organized, with excellent providers."

"I’m surprised about the negative comments. I have been coming here for 9 months now for my first pregnancy and have had such a great experience! The staff has never gotten an appointment wrong for me and has been nothing but warm and welcoming. As I was exploring other local options I was not met with the same energy and decided to stay with northwell. I have loved all of the doctors that I’ve worked with and the nurses too, everyone has been so professional but now that I’m at the end of my journey I feel a connection to them all! I can’t thank the staff enough for such a wonderful experience."

"The staff at this office is not only unorganized, they are extremely rude and unprofessional. They have scheduled appointments for me incorrectly multiple times, making my pregnancy more stressful than it already has been. Even if you communicate and confirm appointments, somehow they mess up your appointments and drop the ball and aren’t even apologetic abt it. On top of all of this, my husband and I have had experienced a miscarriage which makes the doctor/patient experience even more important and having a doctor and staff that are kind and understanding and there to help alleviate stress is critical and not something that we have experienced here. If we have taken anything away from this, it’s that it has been extremely stressful and my only hope it does not affect my pregnancy."
