"The doctor is extremely rude. Talked to me as if I were an uneducated child. And the wait time was ridicules. Went 30 mins early but was seen 15 mins after my scheduled time. Then waited another 20 mins in the room waiting for the dr. The staff scheduled me incorrectly for the visit then the dr wants to preform unnecessary staff. Not to mention I automatically was given Spanish form. Because they assumed that was my language due to last name. I do not even speak Spanish. 10 out of 10 DO NOT RECOMMEND !"
"I wanted to share the worst doctor visit that my daughter ever experienced. So on June 3 rd I took her to a gyn appointment. This appointment was made early March , when I made the appointment as I always do with new doctors I explained that she is in a wheelchair (all the necessary info) . About 3 days before her appointment the nurse called and asked me was Mechele ambulatory which we all know yes she is . The nurse Regina said good she would be there to assist if necessary. Now it was raining hard but instead of canceling we kept the appointment. When we got there after waiting for over 1/2 hour we were ushered into an examination room. Then about 10 minutes later Dr. D. Duprey-Murphy entered the room she mispronounced my daughter’s name sat down and proceeded with why is she here ? I stated that her primary said she needs to be checked after all she is 26 a woman . Then she started talking about some table or chair that according to her was the only office that had one (handicap accessible ) but it broke and couldn’t be fixed oh and was not available anymore?!? Now all this time she is also looking at us and saying stuff like maybe she should go into the hospital so they can put her to sleep to do it. Then she started talking about Her insurance she don’t know if it covers her falling off the table. I replied she is very capable of doing the examination. This woman never even once said well let’s see if she can .She just judged my daughter from looking at her sitting in her chair. As a woman doctor I expected more compassion from her . So this is a heads up Dr. D. Duprey-Murphy @ 652 Suffolk Ave Brentwood NY you and your office had almost 3 months to cancel the appointment you not only wasted my time but you truly hurt my daughter feelings . She may be in a wheelchair but she is still human and can fully comprehend what’s going on. DON’T JUDGE A BOOK BY ITS COVER!!!!!! #very annoyed"
"If you’re disabled or handicapped in any type of way, I am warning you to steer clear of this office. Even if you’re not, think about who you’re seeing.. In March, an appointment was made for my sister for June, and they were made aware of my sister being in a wheelchair. Three days prior to her appointment, the nurse, Regina called and asked if my sister was ambulatory. After mom stating yes, the nurse Regina said it would be OK because she would be there to assist if necessary. Day of appointment and it is raining hard, however the appointment was kept. After waiting for over 1/2 an hour, they were brought back into a room. 10 minutes later, Dr. Duprey-Murphy walks in, mispronouncing my sisters name and asking “why is she here?” Mom stated how the primary care physician requested she be seen due to her age(26.) Dr. Duprey-Murphy replied with her office was the only one that had a wheelchair accessible table, but it broke and couldn’t be fixed so it’s not available anymore. She also then suggested they go to the hospital instead TO PUT HER TO SLEEP to have the simple wellness check done. Her reason being was she didn’t know if my sisters insurance would cover her falling off the table. Mom replied “She is very capable of doing the exam.” However Dr. Duprey-Murphy would not even try to see if she can. Discriminatory beyond belief. This was the definition of judging a book by its cover. And of course, mom expected more compassion from a woman, hence why she chose this doctor. Three months to cancel this appointment, and they close to wait until a rainy day when you have to bring a wheelchair bound person 20 minutes just to hurt their feelings."
"I am always pleased with the team between the doctor and the chicS who do their job, I wouldn't change him for anything, he is my favorite gynecologist, for a while I didn't have him for sure I changed just for him and the care he provides, very grateful, blessings"
"Love it always so attentive and awesome doctors and nurses my two pregnancies here and still love it."
